In this Preferences page, you can modify the tracing options dynamically:
Some plug-ins allow OSGi tracing when configured in the necessary way: This means that they will be logged after you change their options in the .options file.
Tracing options can be changed statically (need restarting) or dynamically (no restarting is required).
In the General preferences: Tracing page, you can plug-ins that support dynamic changes to the tracing options and modify their output.
By default, tracing is disabled. To enable it, you have to check the corresponding checkbox:
After this, the plug-in list will appear in the page:
From this list, you can enable tracing for a definite plug-in:
As plug-ins are grouped, you can filter them by name (by direct typing):

Tracing output can be forwarded to a trace file or to the standard output stream.
When sending the output to file, you can:
A new trace file is created every time when the plug-in is started.
