This section includes the standard 4GL built-in functions which handle forms implicitly without referring to them like to objects.
It also includes the methods which are used with variables of the FORM data type and which treat forms as objects. FORM variables are declared in the same way as simple data types; the ways to use methods are described above. The methods make the form manipulation more flexible and allow of the use of different scopes of reference for screen forms.
