BEFORE DIALOG keywords are optional. The instructions in this clause are executed before the form is made active and the fields become available for input and display. This clause consists of the BEFORE DIALOG keywords and any subsequent statements between the BEFORE DIALOG clause and another control clause or the END DIALOG keywords, if there are no additional control clauses.
