Exporting from LyciaStudio

LyciaStudio provides a wide range of exporting opportunities that allow you to move projects, programs, and files from your workspace to other locations (e.g., send them to your customers).

Once properly exported, files, programs, and projects can be easily imported to other LyciaStudios and built, compiled, and run successfully afterwards.

All the objects - projects, programs, and files - are moved from your workspace with the Export wizard.

The Export wizard allows importing different types of objects including:

files, programs, and projects to your file system,

archive files,

preferences,

ant buildfiles,

4gl programs and libraries,

C/C++ project settings and team shared indexes,

JAR files, Javadocs, and runnable JAR files,

deployable plug-ins, fragments, and features,

Eclipse products and target definitions,

breakpoints and launching configurations,

task lists and contexts,

team project sets, and

XML catalogs

There are 3 ways to start the Export wizard:

from the context menu in the project explorer:

from the context menu in the 4GL Project view:

from the the File menu group:

File Export...

The necessary type of project can be selected in the list, or you can type it in directly:
