LyciaWeb

Lycia Web is the Querix web client. It combines Ajax and HTML5 technologies so as to allow running 4GL applications in web environment and retains most functionality of a desktop client.

Unlike LyciaDesktop, LyciaWeb does not need any special software installed other than a web browser: Thus, 4GL programs can be run on any computer which has an Internet connection and a web browser, without any specific adjustments.

LyciaWeb can be used on all popular platforms including , , and regardless of the operation system installed on the client side. Browsers supported:

• Internet Explorer (only for Windows 10),

• Microsoft Edge,

• Google Chrome (only the latest and second-to-latest versions),

• Mosilla Firefox (only the latest and second-to-latest versions),

• Safari Web Browser (only for MacOS)

With LyciaWeb, a user can run any 4gl application once it was compiled by Lycia 3 or later and deployed to the application server (provided that the web application server is running on the same machine).
