There are two ways to start the Commit Files dialog wizard:
→ by selecting CVS Repository perspective > Commit.
→ by selecting Team → Commit... in the Project Explorer view.
To commit your changes to the CVS repository, please, follow these steps.

Start the Commit wizard as described above:

In the Changes pane, you can see the changes made to the files in the project. Select the changes you want to commit:
We do not recommend committing the output files because they are deleted and created anew every time your build the program/project. You can remove the output files by selecting Remove from the View in the context menu:

You can add comments by direct printing or you can select the Choose a previously entered comment option:
You can create comment templates and select them afterwards as the previously entered comments. To create a template, choose Configure Comment Templates...:
If the comment wasn't entered, a message will be displayed:

Step 4 |
You can compare your local version of the resource (the version you want to commit) with its server version. To do so, select the resource and double-click it to open the Text Compare view:

After you have selected the necessary files and provided the necessary comments, press Finish to commit changes to CVS repository.
We recommend you to update resources before committing.

Now your changes are committed, and you can view them in the Project Explorer view:
