UserActionDefaults.ad2 is a global configuration file created by a user for further customization containing default attributes (texts, images, accelerators, etc.) for actions that can be performed in 4gl applications created in Lycia.

UserActionDefaults.ad2 is merged with master action defaults files as well as with events and actions specified in your graphical forms and/or 4gl code.

UserActionDefaults.ad2 is created by a 4gl developer.

By default, UserActionDefaults.ad2 is located in:

C:\ProgramData\Querix\Lycia\etc

/opt/Querix/Lycia/etс/

You can change the default location of UserDefaultActionDefaults.ad2 by setting the corresponding environment variable:

LYCIA_USER_ACTION_DEFAULTS=C:\Users\my_user\my_lycia\my_user_files\my_user_action_defaults.fm2

For security purposes, it is recommended to store all user-default configuration files in the 4gl project folder.

To specify where all your custom configuration files are located, use you must set an environment variable, LYCIA_CONFIG_PATH in your system environment. variable.
