Allows running applications on the specified host with the extended LyciaWeb functionality.
Syntax:
QXLW_CHROME_EXTENSION_ID={extension's id}
Usage and examples:
Querix has added a LyciaWeb extension for Google Chrome that overcomes the restrictions in functionality imposed on LyciaWeb(including Dynamic Data Exchange, manipulating files located on the file system, and using built-in functions).
By default, this extension works only with localhost URL. To make it possible to run the applications on other computers and still get the extended functionality, you have to perform some steps described here.
To set the QXLW_CHROME_EXTENSION_ID environment variable, you have to
Add it to your system environment or to the Lycia Web Server configuration:
add the QXLW_CHROME_EXTENSION_ID to the register as a value for the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\qxweb_7\Parameters\Environment
and then restart Web Server.
add QXLW_CHROME_EXTENSION_ID to
/etc/init.d/qx-webserver
Specify the extension's ID as the value for QXLW_CHROME_EXTENSION_ID:
QXLW_CHROME_EXTENSION_ID=yyoouurreexxtteennssiioonnssiidd
