Property Editor view shows all properties of report items as a simple list.
Property Editor view has 2 tabs: Properties and Highlights:
In the Properties tab, you change the elements formatting, adjust borders and page breaks, set bookmarks and hyperlinks, add comments, etc.
General |
allows formatting the element (fonts, colors, sizes, etc.) |
Padding |
allows setting padding for the selected element |
Border |
allows adding and formatting borders for the selected element |
Margin |
allows setting margins for the selected element |
Hyperlink |
allows adding / removing hyperlinks to the element |
Page Break |
allows adding page breaks and applying master pages |
Visibility |
allows hiding elements for either all or for specific outputs |
Localization |
allows setting the localization for the selected element |
Table of contents |
allows generating the report's table of content |
Bookmark |
allows adding bookmarks to the selected elements |
Comments |
allows adding comments for the selected elements |
User Properties |
allows specifying new custom properties for the report |
Named Expressions |
allows adding / removing custom expressions to the report |
Event Handler |
allows applying event handler classes to elements |
Advanced |
shows all the properties applied for the element |
The number of properties is different and depends on the selected element.
E.g., only 7 groups of properties can be applied to a table whereas labels have all of them:
In Highlights tab, you can specify conditional formatting for the report elements.
The tab has two panes Condition and Preview.
In the Сondition pane you can see and manipulate conditions applied to the element.
To manipulate conditions, use the buttons in the tab:
Add... |
starts the Edit Highlight window where you can add and format conditions:

Remove |
removes the selected condition |
Move up |
moves the selected condition up |
Move Down |
moves the selected condition down |
Duplicate |
copies the conditions and inserts them in the same list

Edit Highlight window
In the Edit Highlight window, you specify and format expression conditions.
Edit Highlight window has two panes: Condition and Format.
You can directly print it or set it in Expression Builder.
Step 2. From the drop-down list select the necessary condition (between, equal to, match, etc.).
You can preview the changes you make in the Preview pane.
