Converting classic Lycia forms

To convert a classic Lycia form (.per and .4fm), right click the target form file in the 4Gl Project View. You will have two options:

• Convert to GridPanel

• Convert to CoordPanel

Convert to GrisPanel allows you to convert the source form to a form with a GridPanel root container.

Convert to CoordPanel allows you to convert the source form to a form with a CoordPanel root container.

To convert .per forms, you can also use the qform command line tool as well.

When the form file is converted, its source version is automatically excluded from the application files, and the newly converted form replaces it.
