In this Preferences page, you can modify the default behavior of LyciaStudio perspectives:
Here you can set the following options:
§ choose where perspectives are opened,
§ choose how the associated perspectives are opened, and
§ modify the available perspectives.
By default, new perspectives are opened in the current window of LyciaStudio:
With the second option, the new perspective will be opened in a new LyciaStudio window:
If you create a new project that has an associated perspective (e.g., Java or JavaScript project), you can choose that
the associated perspective is opened - Always open,
the associated perspective is never opened - Never open, or
LyciaStudio will ask you whether to open the associated perspective - Prompt (the default option):
set the selected perspective as the default one:

resets the selected perspective to its default configuration - is applied only to customized perspectives |
Delete |
deletes the selected perspective - is applied only to user-defined perspectives (the button remains inactive for the built-in ones) |
